Indonesia Exports 4 Containers of Hand Sprayers to the Philippines

Business players in the Indonesian agricultural machinery and equipment sector have successfully exported hand sprayer products to the Philippines. This export was carried out by PT Golden Agin Nusa with a total of four 40-foot containers. Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Agricultural Equipment & Machinery Companies (Alsintani) Mindo Sianipar said, Hand Sprayer products produced by PT Golden Agin Nusa have passed the test and have an Indonesian National Standard (SNI) certificate. He also emphasized that this export is proof that the commodity of agricultural tools and machinery in Indonesia is able to compete internationally, because according to him, the country's agricultural sector will always progress and continue to develop.

"Not only does it exist domestically, it even exists abroad," he said as quoted from his statement during the export release, Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

Mindo also emphasized that all parties should stop imported goods, especially commodities for agricultural tools and machinery, from entering Indonesia so that domestic products such as the Swan brand hand spryer can continue to develop. "Relevant ministries to prioritize domestic producers who already have SNI certificates and the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) to be selected as partners to work with the government in meeting the needs of agricultural tools and machinery," he explained. On the other hand, basically the government is also said to have determined, if the goods already have SNI and TKDN above 40 percent then the product must be selected by the Government for procurement activities.
